Jewish-Muslim Dialogues: Music of the Middle East and North Africa

This music workshop highlights the intercultural exchange that is fundamental to the region, circumventing the modern political conflict surrounding Israel-Palestine, and seeks through musical and textual exploration, to present an alternative narrative which strengthens the deep association between these ethno-religious groups.

Students are welcome to bring instruments, to experience this music firsthand. Sheet music will be made available in advance.
